A multiple car accident had Junius Street shut down in Old East Dallas for several hours on November 11. According to witnesses, the accident happened at about 4:45 p.m. when a vehicle sped through a neighborhood, hitting several vehicles. The car, a black Acura, was believed to have been stolen.

The driver was speeding at a very high rate when the car ran into oncoming traffic. At least 5 vehicles were involved in the accidents. Ambulances reported to the scene but it is unclear if any of the injuries were serious or if anyone was transported to the hospital.

Police are investigating the accident and have not confirmed that the driver of the Acura was the person who stole the car. However, the vehicle had been reported stolen by the owner. Police have not commented on whether there were any arrests or tickets issued in the incident.

Once police complete their investigation, they may determine that the driver of the Acura caused the damage to the numerous vehicles and is responsible for the injuries. A car wreck attorney in Dallas should be consulted by the victims to determine how to proceed.

In cases where an accident was clearly caused by the negligence of another, as this accident appears to be, victims may be able to seek compensation to cover their medical expenses and property damages. An experienced car wreck attorney in Dallas will work to review the cause of the accident and whether there was negligence.

Those who are injured by the negligence of another may be entitled to receive compensation for their pain and suffering, as well as lost wages. Many times a car wreck attorney in Dallas will try to resolve the case through a settlement. However, if that is not possible, the case may proceed to court.
