Dallas Car Wreck: Drunk Driver Kills Family of Three

On July 24, 2013, in Arlington, Texas a terrible and fatal car accident rocked the community. At 2:20 a.m. a young couple and their baby were on their way home when they were struck by a drunk driver. Arlington New sources reported that a 41-year-old man was driving a pickup truck and was intoxicated when he rear-ended a Toyota Camry.  The husband who was driving the Camry was dead on site, the wife and baby were taken to a hospital where they later passed away.  Steward, the man driving the truck attempted to flee the scene, but there was too much damage to this truck. Steward then attempted the flea the scene on foot before officers were able to track down the man and charge him with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid.

The young family was from Morocco and were simply trying to live the American dream by living a peaceful and simple life. The father had been living in the United States for a few years and finally, had enough money to bring his wife and baby to the United States.

There is never a reason for drunk driving and to ever let things get out of control because the result is always the same.  There are many who are at fault here. The irresponsible bar that continued to serve a patron that was intoxicated, and overwhelmingly the man behind the wheel who had no self-control.  Consuming alcohol is a privilege and it should not be abused.  When it does, tragedy can strike, as it did here in a tragic and fatal car accident.  When it does, the victim or victim’s family should seek out a Dallas car accident attorney to seek justice on their behalf.
