Man dies after being struck by two cars

A man who attempted to walk — presumably for help — on Interstate 30 near Dolphin Road after he crashed his own into the retaining wall died after at least two other cars hit him.

In a car accident scene that the media called “messy,” the man hit the wall left of the HOV lane early on a Sunday morning in March. Authorities don’t know if the man was hurt when he tried to either walk or run along I-30, where he was hit by the other two vehicles.

Officials are still investigating the accident, which includes the drivers of the other cars. When situations like this arise, it can be a comfort to people involved to enlist the assistance of car wreck attorneys Kirkendall Dwyer LLP in Dallas. In any car wreck case, it’s never good to assume that you know the causes or multiple factors that could have been involved.

It’s unknown at this time if charges will be filed against the drivers of the cars involved in striking the pedestrian. But for yet another vehicle involved in a car accident at the scene, that charges are clear. A 27 year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana under two ounces after his car hit a Dallas County Sheriff’s Deputy squad car.

Police say the man went around the flares and other emergency equipment set up to block traffic from the scene of the car wreck. The squad car didn’t have much damage and no injuries were reported in that part of the incident.

It’s clear that tragedy can strike every day on Dallas roads. But if you fall victim to a car wreck, don’t make the tragedy worse by not reaching out to Kirkendall Dwyer LLP for help. Make sure you call for a free consultation.
