A hit and run accident left one person dead on Sunday October 27, 2013 in southeast Dallas.  Dallas Sherriff’s Department officials are investigating the incident, but apparently have not yet released a description of the vehicle nor any information about suspects.  Similarly, the Dallas Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet released the name of the victim, a pedestrian who was struck and killed.

The deadly accident resulted in the closure of the westbound lanes of Highway 175 for more than two hours while authorities conducted their on-site investigation of the incident.
