One Dead in Car Accident

Early on the morning of Thursday October 10, a two-car collision occurred on Interstate Highway 635 in Irving, Texas.  The two individuals involved were outside of their cars when a third vehicle crashed into the, killing one of the men.  The victim was Pramod Paul.  The other driver was able to narrowly avoid being hit by the car.

Unfortunately, the driver of the third car was a friend of Paul’s, Jerry Matthew Abraham.  Friends and family speculated that Paul had called his friend Abraham for help.  Sadly, Abraham ended up killing his friend.  He was taken to the hospital with injuries to the head and neck, and was also charged by police with intoxication manslaughter.

Such accidents have become commonplace: one accident occurs, and another car crashes into the accident scene, either injuring or killing someone.  If you are in a car accident, it is safest to wait for help inside of your car.  Though you might think that you are visible to other drivers, this may not necessarily be the case, especially at night or on the highway.

If you have been injured in a car accident, the car accident attorneys at Kirkendall Dwyer LLP can help.  Our attorneys have the experience and resources necessary to investigate your case and hold those responsible accountable.  Contact our offices to speak directly to an attorney and understand your legal options.  As always, we work on a contingent fee basis, so we do not collect any fees until we recover compensation for you.
